if only I had telekinetic powers😭🙏 the ending was so PEAK. honestly I love girlboss movies 😋 she slayed throughout the whole film. even though she burnt down the house but before that she killed all of her stupid high school class🚶♂️➡️ something that I love is how this movie expresses the consequences of bullying, I like to think that even though this is an adaptation, it shows how different feelings emanate as a result of continuous torture and mental harassment all because you weren't cool enough for them, and all this is a symbol of the same. the constant questioning and the constant doubt that lingers on your mind, of whether they are actually wanting to talk to you or just joking around, is something that is so genuine and relatable to those who have been bullied, including me. i loved this more too because i relate to her so much :( i see my reflection in her eyes. carrie was just a kid to be going through so much. bullying is rly an evil and those who say bring bullying back hold no empathy whatsoever.

> *You must know.. surely, you must know it was all for you. You are too generous to trifle with me. I believe you spoke with my aunt last night, and it has told me to hope as I'd scarcely allowed myself before. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes have not changed. But one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love.. I love.. I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on.* the real enemies to lovers 🥹i have read quite a part of the book, and the rest has been portrayed so beautifully in this bewitching film. loved every moment, every scene and it was so incredibly pure and sweet. there were no sex scenes and not a portion of unnecessarily long drama, just a guy making it up to the girl he likes most💕 i loved the confession scene, it has been written so well !!! also, keira knightley does know how to play her role as one of the eldest siblings :P (talking about both atonement and pride and prejudice) couldn't stop thinking about the song "young and beautiful" by lana del rey as well while watching this🥹
