needed this laugh. i’m convinced **steve carell** is the funniest white guy in america, which isn’t a great feat to beat, but i still love him. really *genuinely* enjoyed this. evil **greg kinnear** redeemed himself just a bit at the end.

still the most visually stunning film i’ve seen in my life. counting this as a first watch since it’s been so long since my real one. **ponyo** and **sosuke** are the cutest little things ever. and all of **ponyo’s little sisters** 😭😭😭😭 the babies 😭😭😭😭 god i hope to be as gorgeous as **granmamare** someday.

started this while wine drunk and i sobbed about ten times harder than i would’ve within the first ten minutes after seeing **laura** for the first time. what an amazing pilot. every use of that theme was so well done. i’m very confused and i like that.
