Pulse

this is going to stick. Pulse is one of the scariest films ever. it possesses some of the most bloodcurdling scenes I have seen and delves deep into the uncanniest of uncanny valleys. i was amazed the whole time by the filming; some of these shots really itch my brain right. my eyes were absolutely peeled to the screen. what stumps me the most about this film, however, is its symbolism for loneliness and depression. I wouldn’t say I can relate to ghosts appearing through my laptop, but the other stuff really resonated with me. I need to rewatch this because damn.
