Full Metal Jacket

I think this is the best war movie I've seen. I felt emotionally manipulated the whole way through. I felt conditioned by the drill sergeant, I felt the confusion and pain of Pile, I felt the irony of Joker. And those final moments were just incredible. This is one of those movies where I just stared for like 1 minute at the screen as Paint it Black just hit perfectly in the credits. Upon writing that, I realised the perfect irony that has considering that long closeup of Joker at the end. Perfection - 10/10
