This movie destroyed me. Let’s just say It touches close to home. The way it portrays the intimate connection between a father and daughter is both touching and heart-wrenching, especially as it subtly reveals the underlying tensions and issues they face.
The cinematography is stunning, truly capturing the essence of a family vacation. But the soundtrack is what did it for me, with songs like “Tender,” “Losing My Religion,” and “Under Pressure”, each track perfectly complements the story.
For me, Aftersun is a must-watch since it offers a message of healing and self-acceptance. It invites you to reflect on your own life and relationships.
