Hook

When I was a child, I dressed up like Peter Pan. This is a somewhat embarrassing fact to admit to a niche corner of the internet, but it was great. Countless memories at family friend’s house, dressed as Peter Pan, watching Hook on New Years Day. While I overrate this film due to childhood blindness, the heavier message of fatherless children living freely and recklessly but longing for a father figure.. and children grappling with their absent father, who finally fights for a relationship with his children. Right?
