necessary valentines rewatch with girlfriend🙂‍↕️ she was team luke in the beginning, and I said no way, it’s gotta be larry, AND I WAS CORRECT!!  and if it wasn’t Larry hands would’ve been THROWN!!!!!!! BECAUSE 65 YEARS UOU GUYS!!! LOVE ISN'T IN JUST THE HAPPY MOMENTS ITS A THOUSAND MILLION MOMENTS😭😭 unless they pulled a challengers, that would’ve been slay. ANYWAYS silly comments aside… I LOVE THIS MOVIE WITH ALL MY HEART! what a sweet, lovely, TEAR-INDUCING commentary on love at its core. wrapped up in a romantic comedy bow :) it makes you cry, it makes you smile, it makes you laugh. I fucking love this movie.

I was so excited for this one, because I’m head over heels for this book. but my favorite thing from these books is the characters, and this movie gave them about a quarter of the depth they had in the book. it ended up not feeling as magical & deep to me, because so much of the characters backstory and also poppy&alex’s relationship buildup got left behind:( I felt like we didn’t even know enough about them in the movie before they were already saying I love you!! I don’t know maybe I’m missing something because everyone is seeming to love this, but I didn’t feel the chemistry with this script!!

seeing david thewlis on the big screen in the year of our lord (2025) felt like reuniting with your long lost bestest friend of all time you thought had died in war. windtraders I better see more of you in avatar 4, OR ELSE-  I enjoyed this one, a pleasure to watch as always, I was very stressed out nearly the entire runtime, I missed the sweet & slow moments from way of water, I miss neteyam, lo’ak you poor sweet boy I see you, kiri you diva I love u, verang is terrifying, sky people can DIE, I wish pandora was real, I wish it was real & I lived there & sky people never find it, last thing is I’m a proud non-spider-hater. 🫶
