This was genuinely a perfect movie, with a perfect ending. it was so healing to have such a hopeful, optimistic and SATISFYING ending! I genuinely don’t even know if i’ve ever been so satisfied with an open ending but there was no other way to end this thing. it came full circle. perfection. i was disgustingly uncomfortable at the disgustingly uncomfortable parts, i was touched, i laughed, i cried. i have so much to say about this movie. ive never seen anything better represent the duality and complexity of human relationships. their relationship was so… indescribable. i am in awe. so fucking weird dude.

This was a 5 star movie no question until the last few minutes. how the fuck did they do them this dirty. brother eli you should have killed yourself in that damn cabin. as daniel said you can run to your god but he’ll still be there with you and you’ll still be a faggot. good riddance.

The real monster is the internalized homophobia instilled in them by the church. they wanted them to be scared of eachother </3

i really liked it!!! scared me way more than i thought it would tbh!! escalates so quickly and just so fucking unsettling. the artistry of the set design was completely phenomenal i loved it. so visually interesting the whole way through. you could almost recognize so many of the classic tiktok songs- just vaguely. as if it had been remembered so many times it was only *almost *recognizable
