Zodiac

One of Fincher's best. This film has moments and scenes which are absolutely terrifying when you think about it. The scene near the lake where the murder takes place has just something about it which stuck to my mind when I first watched this film. This was my second viewing. The cinematography and everything else in that scene was mesmerizing and truly haunting when we think that something like that can happen to anyone like us in real life. I might sound stupid, but it's true. One more scene which was the one before the basement when Vaughn tells him that he drew the poster, and the sudden realization after that, and the basement scene. When he says, "Do you think he saw the film in our theatre and was inspired?" very conveniently slipping into the shadow of a shelf like every other scene in the film when we witness a murder. Chilling. A great film. I can proudly say that Fincher is my favourite director. Not one of the favourites, but the one. At the top. Everything in this film was like perfect. And this was the time when Iron Man, Hulk and Mysterio came together on a screen and they were more dynamic than ever before or after. Fuckin' class film. Definitely worth a watch.
