Ex Machina
spoiler alert:
this is my second watch of this movie and I have to say it’s so much better than the last watch. i don’t think i’ve felt this way about a story since Pantheon S2 or Devs. On the first watch you’re basically experiencing it from Caleb’s point of view but second watch is almost exactly like Nathan’s. Each watch you can feel every emotion the character is feeling.
But I have to say I didn’t like the ending direction choice with Nathan actually planning on keeping Ava locked up, it would have been much more cathartic if he acknowledges he’s recreated humanity like Prometheus.
