Today, before even knowing I would be watching this film tonight I had an ethereal experience involving sudden thoughts trying to convince myself to embrace all my suffering and to embrace what I hate feeling right now. Visions of myself older and wiser. Like my future self was connecting with my present self at that very moment. Like I had already lived my life and I was coming back to that moment of clarity that I had when I was younger which would be the present for me then. Like my future self was giving me a nod or a smile.
