Sentimental Value

Wow what a story, extremely interwoven between characters. This script is fucked. Each character progresses each other’s story.  I haven’t seen a film in over a month and this is the perfect film to end my drought. This is up there for film of the year. Skarsgard and Reinsve’s performance was incredible. Skarsgard has always been a great actor, but this my first impression of Reinsve and she did not disappoint at all.  The cinematography was great, especially the use of mirrors. This film is very similar to Drive My Car, which also uses mirrors and reflections in beautiful ways. Also, Skarsgard giving his 9 year old grandfather a copy of Irreversible is crazy
