The Wrestler

i dont know why i put this off for this long. it's a film that i love and i will love. in the heart of this is a broken "piece of meat", that grappling with his bad decisions, mortality and loneliness. It's a hopeless yet hopeful look at a person's life with a very sucessful life inside the ring but a very shitty one outside. more than all of this, this film made wrestling what wrestling really is. it's not the kayfabe thing, they show what is real, it's them talking before and during matches what to do, the concept heat and getting over, those are the things that i always wanted to see in a wrestling film. this is amazing. (r-truth cameo is crazy)
