Uninvited

omg what?! this is my favorite film in mmff, idc what i will watch on the lineup, this really got my liking. i was so excited for this film from the first time i've heard the story and saw the trailer, i knew that this would be interesting to me. the story is compelling, it finally when on a route that is original than the other films of the same subject in PH. the third act was better than people are saying it.  my favorite part of this film are the dialogues and the performances. the dialogue was amazing, the meaning that they extract from each word, i gave layers to the characters and the story. it feels natural when the actors are delivering the lines. the performances, my gosh. Aga ate this role, he embodies the character, you can see the passion he has for this film. his presence and every time he is one the screen he is always the best performer. Vilma Santos is also amazing in this film, the control over her emotion is so good. This feels like a very different role for her, this is more repressed rage and it's always like so many emotions are fighting inside her, waiting to be unleashed. Nadine was good and Rk is super underrated. i just had a very fun time watching this film.
