Gladiator

"What we do in life echoes in eternity"  Ancient Rome has never felt more real on screen, it's a real epic that'll keep you entertained. The coliseum comes alive, it's very well crafted from the story telling, the choreography, effects, the acting, directing, even pacing wise it never got dull.  Russell Crowe's Maximus and Joaquin Phoenix's Commodus perfectly compliment each other with the contrast between good and evil. It's amazing how well this film has aged even all these years later now with a sequel coming out, it's a movie that feels truly timeless.
