Seen this movie an infinite amount of times and it will never get old. Everything about it to me is simply perfection, from the casting, the gritty detective story, the way Gotham feels ripped straight from the comics but at the same time still grounded. Matt Reeve's vision is full on display here and it's undoubtedly my favorite on screen adaptation of the Dark Knight.
I won't ever forget being in the theatre experiencing the chase scene with the penguin for the first time, that sequence is genuinely a top 10 moment in cinema for me. I clearly hold this film in very high regards, as Batman is quite literally one of my favorite characters in all of fiction and the hype at the time before its release was crazy and the fact it exceeded my expectations was impressive.
This film has all I could want from a Batman story and more, excited would definitely be an understatement to describe how I'm feeling about The Batman Part 2.
