Videodrome

“To become the new flesh, you first have to kill the old flesh.”  One of the most surreal horror films i’ve ever seen, it’s very unique and gross in all the best ways when it comes to the special and practical effects combined with the super blizzare but worthwhile plot.  Crazy body horror and super unsettling, no breaks really at all in this. This imagery is chilling but memorable, it sticks with you thinking about it long after. Another film where it’s a lot of uncertainty around it but to me that just adds to the fun breaking it down and coming up with a theory of my own to what it was I just witnessed.  “Long live the new flesh.”
