Genuinely my favorite anime of all time. I showed my partner and best friend this anime because I was a little surprised they had never seen it. The commentary on toxic workplaces in the anime industry and how lies can lead to much greater things has me in a chokehold every single time. The opening credits being so unsettling yet almost happy leaves chills running down my back whenever they start playing. Shounen Bat will set us free. Also, the suicide internet family episode might just be one of the best pieces of media I've ever seen. The reveal at the end left everyone in as much shock as I had the first time I watched it.
