Blade Runner

aesthetically, this might be the best looking movie i’ve ever seen. the cinematography, setting, world building, and music are firing at all cylinders from start to finish. thinking back, i can think of hundreds of things i’ve seen that have been influenced by this film. however, if someone had a gun to the back of my head and forced me to explain the entire plot of this movie i’d close my eyes and accept my fate. i don’t know why but this is always an issue for me when watching anything in a sci-fi dystopian setting. maybe i’m just so caught up on the visuals that my mind just takes a break. if i gave this another watch and fully focused on the story then this will probably jump to a 5 star.
