Sing Sing
phenomenal in every sense of the word. a film that’s important not only to the audiences experiencing the stories of Sing Sing inmates and RTA members, but to the real life formerly incarcerated men that got to share the screen together and make this film. Clarence Maclin delivers a performance that rivals any hollywood actor in recent memory and there should be outrage if he doesn’t sweep the next awards season. the support that he provided to Colman Domingos passionate portrayal of Divine G gave us the most genuine and heartfelt dynamic of the year. the rest of the cast also helped an atmosphere that felt so comfortable you can’t help but smile, laugh, and cry as they did. an emotional story that should be experienced by any and everyone.
and to think my original review was just gonna be “this what they got Tay-K doing”
