Joker
when I really think about this the only reason this is one of my all time favourites is the experience and the grittiness of this movie. The story sure is generic and unoriginal but this truly is one of the greatest movies of the 2010s this is in line with movies like whiplash or lalaland and interstellar and so on. the reasons it had made an everlasting impact on me include the marvelous acting by Joaquin phoenix and the score of this movie. For me sometimes even if the story is not as good if the cinematography and the music is good then the whole experience is changed for me. music makes you feel things and the score for this movie was just fucking great. and the cinematography and the colour coding of this movie was beautiful.
so overall even if this movie is hated by a lot of modern day critics and some call it utter garbage this is one of my favourites if not my all time favourite movie because of the reasons that I believe cinema exists for which are providing viewers with an everlasting experience and telling a masterful unforgettable tale and leaving viewers with an impactful message.
Joker fulfills one of the following and it satisfies me enough
