I know this is technically just a film, but watching Titus (had to swallow a bit of sick just typing that name) beating up the sister felt a bit… much. Like, this wasn’t your standard movie scrap. The gut punches, the kicking, the full-on head stamping… it just crossed into weirdly intense territory for no real reason.

I only discovered this film while watching trailers at the cinema and thinking, “bold move going straight into a sequel.” Having now seen it, I completely understand why I’d heard absolutely nothing about it.

I love that we’re now speed-running Colleen Hoover adaptations like it’s a Marvel phase rollout. The inevitable crossover can’t be far away.
