It

**Halloween* 2025: Film V* I am forever going to prefer this adaptation of IT. It's so fun and creepy I enjoy every second. Of course the stand out character is the deadlights herself. Tim Curry smashes it being the perfect balance of funny yet horrifically terrifying. The makeup is simple yet uncanny and the baggy suit is very accurate to the book. Despite the gargantuan run time of 3 hours, the form of Pennywise only has around 10 minutes of screen time throughout, proving how effective Curry's role as the clown truly is. Also, the scene with Georgie in this version makes more sense to me as Pennywise seems more human and friendly, thus convincing Georgie to reach down into the grate but maybe that is just me. The losers are all very memorable and you care so much for them through everything they go through with IT. The stand out character for me has to be Richie, played by the tiny 16 year old Seth Green who of course has now gone on to do hilarious stuff like Robot Chicken and Family Guy. I've got to say aswell, despise the pony tail Bill. I've always loved this film since I watched it at a young age and I'll never get enough of it.
