I try to rate every movie as objectively as possible without necessarily taking in account the era when it was released. Of course, when it comes down to special effects, I have to take into consideration the release date of the movie, however, for pretty much everything else, I am not that indulgent. What do I log ? Anything that’s made to be watched as a movie or as tv, for cinematic purposes or as a storytelling feature, no matter the length. Therefore I will be logging movies, shorts, tv episodes, tv shows, etc. However I will not be logging documentaries unless they have a cinematic value, nor music album, neither image sequences from the early times of cinema.
