wow i’m actually pretty disappointed in this one, i can’t tell if the screenplay is kinda weak or if tarantino is the one person who can use his scripts as they were meant to be. it just felt like some things were out of place, a star studded cast but so many of the best parts don’t do mix of anything, i think mostly i just wanted more of it, i think this is nearly entirely more entertaining than natural born killers but doesn’t live up to what tarantino has delivered in his projects. i dunno i just wish i liked it more

this was good! i could feel myself smiling for a lot of the run time and got really wrapped up in the whole thing, it certainly wasn’t perfect and i think i would’ve preferred a different ending but i think that the film does a great job creating real characters and really letting us understand them and that’s exactly what i want out of a good romance.

Baz Luhrmann is a very kinetic director and i think that plays a huge part in making this soooo good. like aside from everyone absolutely hamming it up to give hilarious and overly dramatic performances, which work splendidly, luhrmann captures just interesting shots, the music is obviously super great and the editing is a little dizzying but that perfectly captures the film. so much to love about it

i can’t believe i missed a rewatch of this last year, it’s just so good, it’s the perfect amount of funny and the perfect amount of sweet. the soundtrack is fantastic everyone is just spectacular in their performances and it’s just so heart warming to me. i could gush and gush over this movie but i think it’d be better to call the whole thing off
