really great till lit rally the last 10-15 minutes where the ending was like……. REALLY reductive towards the overall story, sort of put a bad taste in my mouth where it was like “pov the cops WILL make it right!!” and imo feels a bit reductive from the perspective of a survivor. score was fab though and writing was good for the most part, carey mulligan was really great too so yay her and she got an oscar nom im pretty sure so congrats girl!!

…………i hate to say it but it was lowkz #meh like i kinda took a one way ticket to midtopia and lowkz overhyped the haus but like i had fun!! i think i walked in with big expectations and it just like……. did not meet them but im glad i went!! the spooky scary woo woo vibes were def there but like i’m sawri it just did not hit for me like that (i have zero idea how the fuck this has 4.2 stars but like huge congrats to the movie’s team for its success like that’s super great and super cool like yas #independent #selfmade like great for new filmmakers this movie is but besides that just like not super yas)
