Alien
45 Years Old and still manages to be one of the greatest pieces of cinema.
From the sleek look of this films aesthetic, to its brilliant cinematography and framework.
It’s impressive nature of feeling like a lived in world that we are only welcome to a taste of, it’s something very rare in film. Especially nowadays.
It took from some before it, but outlined a blueprint for decades of sci-fi horror.
Undertones aside, and a pace that would probably put a typical Chad to sleep. ALIEN honestly has a pace that is rapid and intense, and it’s a wick that burns to a big explosive climax.
It’s fair to call this a masterpiece.
