Adaptation.

I don’t say this very often but, this movie has changed me. Adaptation is equal parts a masterclass in meta fiction and also a perfect portrayal of struggling creatively. Among all the movies I’ve seen, none have captured the feeling of being worthless more than this did. The fact that it’s autobiographical (kinda) and doesn’t feel self indulgent is even more incredible. The acting is astounding and the script is marvelous.  Also, the final line brought me such peace.
