Babylon
> This movie is absolute peak.
How it aboard EVERY single thing you could find in Hollywood is terrific. I loved the fact of exploring how cinema means everything to many people, even though some may say it’s not such a big deal. How cinema combines all of the aspects art, from drawing, music, sculpture, photography, literature, gives the people the ability to plasm their ideas, life experiences, moments, ANYTHING.
How Jack deals with the fact of not being an important matter on its time but for next generations is amazing, it’s wonderful how cinema can maintain alive the spirit of so many people trough a single frame. How the fact of CHANGE can scare the shit out of someone, especially in this kind of industry that every day new stars arrives to it. Even though with all of this we’ll never forget the ones that started it all, the pioneers which, without them, this industry wouldn’t be what is today.
As a Mexican I adored the participation of Diego Calva on this film. It made me realize that in today world you don’t need to pretend to be from other race, from other country, to not "americanize yourself" as Diego said in an interview. If you have talent and you have the opportunity to demonstrated it you can have a chance on this whole world that Cinema is.
Babylon, I saw you for second time today and you change my life.
Damien, thank you for your love letter to cinema
Diego Calva, thank you for demonstrate me that i have an opportunity in this world without being uncomfortable on who I am, on where I came from, on where my roots come from.
