I really wanted to like this film (the first film is amazing) however it left me annoyed if anything. Firstly, we find out early on that Andy is in charge of her own publishing company. Yet when she returns to work at Runway, she shrinks into how she acted when she was an intern. Not sure if this was on purpose to show Miranda's cut throat nature. Miranda is a little bit nicer than how she was in the previous film, although she says stuff that will get her cancelled. I like how the film addresses the decline of physical publications, however as we were cutting from one scene to another, the story felt so convoluted when it didn't need to be. Costuming was great. Good cast of actors. Don't think the film needed a sequel.

Fun film for kids but left no impression on me after I finished the film. I like how they changed the canon slightly to work with the story. Bowser sits in this grey area where you like the character but you never know if he will betray the rest of the team. The visuals were nice, taking inspiration from Mario galaxy and Mario odyssey. This film was not as good as the first film, probably because the plot was weaker. They had characters like Starfox and Yoshi, but they were underutilised.

Was an interesting experience watching this indie horror film on a plane... I didn't have must expectation going in, expect that everyone was saying that I had to watch it! Directed by Curry Barker, the charm of the film was how novel and amateur it was, a small cast of characters in a small American town. The story was intriguing and added to the wider discourse regarding modern dating and relationships. As we follow Bear's perspective, you know what he did was very wrong but you also feel some sympathy for him, which is a tension that the viewer sits with throughout the movie. Indie's acting was incredible creepy, making Nikki into this walking nightmare. There are some gory moments and jumpscares, making it overall a very unsettling experience. The pacing and editing could have been a bit more polished. The story arc was not as evenly paced and it is unclear how much time has passed.
