Okja

At the start of the movie I was appreciating how visually stunning it was along with the camera work which I really enjoyed. This movie is so so heartbreaking, and would unfortunately be the reality if it were to exist. The look in Okja’s eyes during the reunion is what got me the most. I wish I could save all of the super pigs from this brutality. The scene with the parent super pigs pushing out their baby super pig was so sad too. They knew what was coming. Killing intelligent animals for profit is so heartless and she is right with saying people will still buy "the product" if it’s cheap. Hate this truth. Showing how awful it was inside was a risky move, but ultimately I think it was the right one. Conditions close to this even are often true, and will be true in the future. Fuck me bro. I feel like the actors did amazing jobs in their roles too.
