If I had a nickel for every time Matthew McConaughey was in a sci-fi masterpiece about dangerous space travel, I would have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s crazy that it happened twice.
On a serious note, you know a sci-fi movie is great when the best part of the movie isn’t the space and the rocket ships, but the earth bound themes and emotional core. There is a scene towards the end of this movie that is by far the most satisfying payoff of a theme I have ever seen. INCREDIBLE
