Eephus

So obviously a labor of pure love. The cinematography and sound are fantastic. I was completely moved by the stories of these very different men brought together by a shared passion and its impending, unstoppable loss. These guys evolve over the course of the day, each reacting to each other and the inevitable conclusion in a way that is equally heartening and heartbreaking.  It’s too long, and it did lose me at times, but the core of this movie is truly something beautiful.
