It's a Sin

i worked in gay bars throughout the entirety of my university life and i have seen and heard first hand the impact the AIDS crisis had on elder queers. i have seen men’s hearts break over and over again as they remember and recall friends and loved ones they lost.  every time i watch this show i remember the pain on those people’s faces and the real stories i have heard. whilst not being there myself, i can tell russell t davies wrote this from the heart. it is so beautifully and carefully told through a hard to watch lens.  my heart will forever ache for those that suffered. i cannot fathom the treatment and the fear and the pain everyone endured.
