Frankenstein
'you may be my creator, but from this day forward, i shall be your master.'
And in the end we all become the procurer of a creature. someone more pure than us, someone more alive, seeking a fate far better than ours. the 'creature' was the innocence that victor possessed in the past, before the infections of life took over him. he became what he had wanted to conquer, while the creature conquered what the world had wanted him and drove him to become.
but to separate the creator from the creature is to separate yourself from your mistakes and your marvels. we must learn to be kind to each, to accept the flaws in order to truly be in harmony within.
i knew this was going to be generational from the very first second, guillermo del toro has given me so much hope. we have truly been blessed from the source, to this latest adaptation. (and i pray for more)
and from this day onward mia goth should be in every gothic fiction film adaptation for the rest of time.
