The Deer Hunter

This has got to be some of the best characterization and development I’ve ever seen. I’m watching again with my brilliant thoughtful friend, I’ve come to realize just how much is in this film. This movie rewards the viewer for watching closely and doesn’t force feed informations, often subtle actions are all the characterization you’ll get.  Sad. Thinking of the first time I watched this with dad. This movie will forever be a part of me, and I will be chasing that elusive deer through my own mountains. “Remember the trees”
