Rewatching this on the first Father's Day without my Dad was a really poor choice on my part. It has resulted in me being reduced to a puddle of tears at my desk at work, but this is truly Sandler's best work.
Another thing I've noticed through this rewatching journey is that Rob Schneider is almost always the worst part of these films. Luckily he wasn't in this one for too long, but him playing a brown person still reduced my rating by half a star.
