This movie made me irrationally angry, but the karaoke bar scene kinda makes up for it— it’s so cute and iconic!!

I’m so mad that ginger woman didn’t beat max’s fucking ass.why am I angrier than his wife who has been with him for 25 years when he says he has nothing to say after—cheating on her with a woman significantly younger who is also his past employee?? God even worse the line about getting to the scene where “the scorned woman kicks out the peckish husband”and he talks about how he will return back to her after his AFFAIR. Anyways it was a pretty good movie, but the entire time I thought about the actual case where a man committed suicide on live television—wondering if this movie influenced that idea..Not sure but I thought the differences on how it started and ended were interesting.

“*We love you more than heaven, our son—we love you more than land. Our beloved home will soon be gone forever, but ***hope*** vitalizes our hearts and ***that hope is you***.We have searched the universe for a home where you can do the most good and live out kryptons truth—and that home is earth.”* I cried the ENTIRE time.

STOP PRAISING “ESTEEMED” DIRECTORS FOR MAKING SLOP. This movie has a 40 MILLION dollar budget and this is the shit you produce with that?A complete waste of time and money. The CGI is absolutely horrific—to the point I audibly laughed multiple times.I genuinely couldn’t take this shit seriously, and I’m convinced the good reviews on this are either Sam Raimi dick riders or paid off.The story goes from Linda not being ready to leave the island to the point she murders 3 people—to leaving and living the most materialistic life possible.this was just horrific through and through- LAUGHABLY BAD. 0.5 star-general message “nobody’s coming to save you” cool I guess.. 0.5 star-Dylan o’Brien and Rachel mcaddams acting (I can only imagine how terrible the script was, but they tried so I’ll give them that)
