What the fuck was this and why did it piss me off. Literally what was the point of this..... apart from letting us see how good Hunter Schafer is at acting ????????

NOW, why did everyone lie about this movie being bad or not needed ???? It was actually one of my most anticipated for 2026 and it actually matched what i was expecting if not more !!! Samara is THEE final girl and shes such a good actress, im always in awe when it comes to her and KATHRYN MY ABSOLUTE LOVE, she portrayed faith amazingly and idk why people did not like her acting. I also liked how they ended the story, it was so so so iconic and very satisfying. I need more of Samara and Kathryn as a duo again bc they are just too good together. Anyways CHOKE ON IT YOU INBRED FUCKS

I'm starting with a 4 star rating because i just need to sit with it a little bit to see if it can go higher for me. I do think this movie is very brilliant in its execution. The photography is stunning and it is my favorite part together with the acting of Robert and Zendaya. The story is very deep and complex and it actually has so many layers to it and it serves as a very very good social commentary on moral compass, exclusion, being "good or bad", the ability of having to grow and change throughout your life, hypocrisy, mental instability and just human emotions as an ensemble. I have to admit that i was very "anxious" till the last minute because the way the story was built, you might start to anticipate Emma to do something bad (the scene where she enters the diner and goes towards the cashier and a song that goes "She has guns..." starts), but she doesnt and i loved how she wanted to start anew instead with the same person. I wasnt let down at all and this movie has the potential to actual bring real life discussions over these topics. Wow.

> *"So, you wish you were more like normal people?" > **"No. I'd kill to be like normal people"* I didnt know this movie existed till i saw some edits on tiktok and the depiction of ocd seemed pretty accurate so i gave it a try and this is going immediately in my fav movies list. I dont usually cry much for movies/shows, even if they impact me a lot emotionally, but this is the movie i cried for the most ever. I loved everything about it, the cinematography, the acting (Isabela is fucking crazy) and also how the story is told, especially talking for the ocd. The way they managed to actually represent how ocd works, how your thoughts are, the relationship dynamics you have with people around you, the crashout scene... just wow. It really felt like i was finally seeing something made for me, made about me. I love how the ocd wasnt the only focus of the story and also the love story was really sweet too (im sad about the ending tho) and finally not one of those "oh yes i have ocd bc i want things in order" shit. This was triggering, this was raw and real and it actually can give an insight to people who dont suffer from this mental illness on how it really is to live it in part, even if in this case it was about contamination ocd while there are much more types of it. I dont know if i have to thank John Green for it but i also think that the director here did an amazing job with all the actors too. Ocd unfortunately is one of the most overlooked mental illnesses, people who dont suffer from it have just a stereotypical view of it, they dont think its this debilitating, they dont think it impacts your whole life, love, relationships, the way you perceive yourself. Two things that i absolutely loved was how she described having it, "its like a demon" "i dont have the control of my body and thoughts" "i feel like im not real" and how the people around Aza reacted to the illness and how they could not understand her boundaries totally even if the loved her. Just wow, really, thanks for this bc it made me actually feel seen and understood for once in my life, outside of therapy.
