Sinners

There’s so many things i can write about this movie, but i’m only gonna state two things:  (Slight spoiler alert, but movie starts with that scene so) The scene where sammie sings and we see different era’s music come to life, from the past and future, was a masterpiece. Blues and jazz, are the most alive genres. As long as i listen to it, i loved it not only because it sounds enchanting, but also because it makes you feel alive and makes you feel present. And the only reason sammie was able to continue making music, continue putting his soul in it, was because he didn’t turn into a vampire and was able to feel the life as it is. Beauty of creating art is that artist themselves might die someday, but the art and the feel that’s in it, will remain.
