A very humane and extremely warm movie, like a hug to human love and music. 70% of this movie is musical, yet it's so beautiful it surpassed the sense of foreign isolation in Lost in Translation for me, which felt very similar to this piece, though this one is much older. The second thing I would really like to appreciate about this is the cinematography. It's very documentary-like and mature, intimate to the point of feeling like quiet literature.
The ending stays open and ends on a perfect note about moving on.
