Ohh… this movie wrecked me. I just finished it n my heart feels heavy as hell.
The Hunt is one of those films that gets under ur skin not with gore or jumpscares but with pure raw emotional pain.
Mads mikkelsen delivers one of the most heartbreaking performances I’ve ever seen. u can literally see the pain in his eyes. A man gets completely destroyed by a lie n no one even stops to ask if it’s true. The way the town turns on him… the isolation ,the judgment, the silent stares it all felt too real.
There’s a scene in the grocery store… I won’t spoil it but damn, it hit me like a punch in the chest.
The injustice, the helplessness it’s overwhelming.
This isn’t just a movie. It’s an experience. It messes with ur emotions n makes u question everything about trust, truth, and how fast society is to crucify someone without proof.
By the end, I was just sitting there numb.
