Holy shit I knew movies are fun and entertaining but I didn’t know they could be fun and entertaining in THIS kind of way. I don’t think I’ve ever been aware of me moving my eyes so much while watching a movie. There is so much and so little going in almost every shot and all of them have fun little twists or easter eggs in them, making it an engaging feast for the eyes and brain (hence the title). The movie is begging you to rewatch and pick up on things you missed the first time (or even 2nd or 3rd maybe) It’s also so cool how it prides itself in how paradoxical it all is. It’s energetic but also restrained. Bland looking but in a beautiful way. It’s chaotic but orderly. Things we see are ordinary yet also mesmerizing. It’s such a cool and original concept for a movie it’s almost impossible to try and do something similar without ripping it off basically. This one I’m expecting to be rewatching a LOT in the future and I’m sure every subsequent rewatch will make it even better for me.
