Obi-Wan Kenobi
I was having a hard time trying to decide what to score this show because it has both good and bad qualities. But sadly the bad does outweigh the good here. Some of the characters are so horrible it's hard to watch, like Haja and Reva for the first few episodes, luckily her arch becomes interesting but she makes me very annoyed when she's on screen for 4 of the 6 episodes. As well as some rough writing specifically in the first few episodes. Lots of the scenes are boring to sit through especially watching it back because you know what is to come that is so much better. Some of the dialogue is lazy as well, like multiple times and for sure in back to back episodes we have the line "where is ____ '' , after a characters death and it just makes it seem so re used and boring.
But when this show does stuff right, do they do it damn right. I truly believe (potential hot takes incoming) that this show contains some of the better if not the best Darth Vader sequences in all of Star Wars. That final fight between him and Obi Wan has now become one of the more popular fights in all of Star Wars, and don't forget when he stopped a whole ship from flying away with the force. This show definitely doesn't lack when It comes to making him the most powerful there is.
But like I said at the beginning there is more bad than good but luckily some of the good is so great that it puts its self at a 2 1/2 for me. One last thing to show you Disney doesn't pay any attention at all. Leia obviously remembers her time with Obi Wan in the originals that's why she asks for his help, so how does Luke not even know the guy in a new hope as well as he never mentions he was once chased down by a Sith and almost killed and they are both the same age and I'm pretty positive Luke doesn't have any memory problems. I mean come on. I think it's time to boycott Disney and make them lose the rights to both Star Wars and Marvel because they are just ruining everything. I shall now pray for both franchises. Goodnight.
