It wasn’t horrible but there wasn’t a proper plot and it got boring.

You could see ju won’s soft side even through the times where he had a grudge against Dong sik. He was dedicated to prove that Dong sik had killed his sister and got caught up in his own mess, in which he learned the truth, which evolved his character. I think serval times in different scenes you could see that ju won deep down knew that it wasn’t Dong sik. I wouldn’t call it ‘ character development ‘ ju won following his own drive and confusion in who to trust, did what he thought was right. Even in doing so he was never a bad person. When he heard the confession, it only validated that little feeling he had throughout the show. It’s more like his sense of direction with who to stand next to, got readjusted, not with his thoughts and beliefs but with real evidence and emotions. He was the same person in and out but during the experiences he endured, he learnt that he too, could trust someone. Also them two were defo flirting 🤧

I was so stressed the whole time and I loved the brother in law trope so much. Si won was getting on my nerves throughout the whole thing. I hope there’s a season 2🤞🏻

I was silently rooting for them in my heart and so I was overwhelmed with emotions, not during but after watching. I can’t imagine having feelings for a person and feeling guilty, not being able to express yourself to someone else, because of social norms and pressures from others. I felt conflicted myself and desperate for a happy ending. So many complicated elements, yet it felt down to earth, as the message serves everyone an opportunity to question their own ideology
