Santa as a joyful slurring confident king. Steals every scene he’s in - between the laugh and the line delivery might be top three on screen Santa of all time for me.  Praying that Robert Eggers eyes the script for his next big dark moody remake!

I’m sure a version of this film existed at one point where the whole thing felt as wonderful and moody as the first ten minutes. Bizarre that it’s lost to time and level of care, but the surviving story and film can never ascend from cult to classic

Almost feels like a prank to have a movie that is mostly talking as 3D, let alone called “Silent” Madness. These characters can’t stop yapping
