A staggering achievement of documentary filmmaking; sweeping, epic, horribly tragic and meticulously researched and directed. A macro and micro look into the institutions that shaped both America and OJ, and the far reaching consequences of their collision. On one hand terribly frustrating, on the other incredibly illuminating. I really loved this.

While I do have some complaints that hold this back from a stronger score, the idea of completely losing your bodily autonomy and being used by someone you thought you were safe around is such a terrifying concept. Very timely commentary. I can’t remember a time I hated a main character this much.

Still ass

“Don’t look at me like that! You aren’t the only one who’s trapped. They expect me to cook it again! I’m not ambitious, I wasn’t trying to cook, I was just trying to stay out of trouble. You’re the one who was getting fancy with the spices! What’d you throw in there? Oregano?”
