Miyazaki has a way of capturing such down to Earth themes in such fantastical ways. Watching Kiki leave her home to find herself as not only a witch, but as a person is inspiring. Kiki’s journey of trying to find some sense of belonging, purpose, and wavering confidence is one that most can relate to especially me.

It’s hard for me not to be immediately sucked into a space opera especially one as charming as this. So much fun.
