I appreciate that there aren’t the long drawn out monologues from villains once they have a hero pinned or vice versa. Just boom / pow, they dead. It’s frustrating watching them leave, get got and then return to the green room several times, but it makes up for it in the end. Yelchin/Poots/Stewart/Shawkat/Turner what a cast!! Also the punks crying for the police is wonderful. Everyone has their ideals until they’re put to the test and then you learn how they really feel.

CC Kathryn Bigelow Closet Picks It’s the *Andor* of World War 2 movies; all focused on the tiny movements that spark rebellion, without any hope of seeing the outcome of their efforts. Wasn’t a knock out for me, but it’s a solid story. Very bleak. I wish it had shown a bit more of the actual resistance-ing because we only see them smuggle a radio past the Germans, get some people to England and then try and bust a fellow member out of jail… mostly just flops. Not a bad thing, but I didn’t feel the emotional weight of it since I didn’t know anything about them or what they were doing.. Not bad by any means, just a bit empty and bare bones.

Terrifying 💜
