Audition

I literally don't know what to think. I loved the concept of self-destruction, her past, her real-life traumas, it's brutal, and at the same time, I hated it???  Oh, there are times when I thought it was going down one path and I was going to be really impressed, but the film seems to be trying to go in several directions and in a make or break situation it ended up being more empty than I thought it would be.  Despite that, sometimes the writing in the film is incredible, it's a shame that it's not a consistent piece of work. Although there is a specific scene where the character changes shape and when she begins to physically show her trauma and her story, I found it absolutely incredible, but I thought the continuation of this narrative was too much.
